Portland cement type 2

Portland cement type 2:

The composition of cements Type 2 (which is also known as Modified Portland cement) is in a way that compared to Portland cement type 1, has lower temperature when mixed with water (which usually reduces the strength of the concrete) and furthermore, it has increased strength against the damaging sulfate environmental (gypseous lands and those affected by sea water). Moreover, Hormozgan Cement Co. has succeeded to provide a composition in its Portland cement type 2, which in addition to keeping the 2 mentioned features, it can keep the initial strength as same as Portland cement type 1, so that the observation period (keeping the moisture) following the use of the concrete made of this cement is reduced.
